In today’s world of increasing polarisation and the prevalence of misinformation online, educating young people to navigate the internet and social media responsibly is more important than ever. The BBC Other Side of the Story website provides vital resources to help young audiences approach digital content with intelligence and discernment. To expand their reach, they needed innovative ways to engage their audience—and that’s where we came in.
We developed three short video concepts on key digital literacy topics: Polarisation, Fake News, and Clickbait. These videos use humour and pastiche to present critical information in an accessible, relatable way.
Hosted by popular YouTuber Eman Balogun (SV2), the videos include:
The History of Fake News, a humorous deep dive into how misinformation has evolved over time.
Clickbait, a witty exploration of misleading online headlines.
Polarisation for the Nation, a gameshow parody unpacking how the internet can fuel extreme divisions.
Each video is fast-paced, funny, and jam-packed with practical information to help young people spot misleading content and make informed decisions online.
This collaboration highlights our ability to create educational and entertaining content that resonates with young audiences. Looking to communicate complex ideas in a creative way? Let us help you bring your vision to life.
