London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

We partnered with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in Ghana, Senegal, Uganda and in India in order to show the impact of their research and interventions across the globe. Using our documentary experience, we captured testimonies form community members, organisers and researchers and put together films that are complex yet relatable and that demonstrates how and why LSHTM’s research and programmes matter to the communities that are involved. Some of our films even featured in the UN… The films cover a broad range of issues – from malaria treatment to HIV prevention, from keeping young girls in schools to prevention of violence against women.

Mobilize Against Malaria - Senegal

This film brings to life the success of a pilot programme to improve access to Artemisinin-based Combination Therapy (ACT) by developing and supporting healthcare capacity in hard-to-reach communities in Senegal.

We followed a group of community workers who travel on motorcycles in order to reach remote communities that struggle to receive timely and effective malaria care.

Samata: Keeping Girls in Secondary School in India

The Samata programme in India aims to reduce HIV risk among adolescent girls in Bijapur and Bagalkot Districts by increasing their rates of secondary school enrolment and completion.

Filmed at the start of the programme and then again two years later, a series of films was produced that investigate what has changed for the adolescent girls involved, as well as their families, boy students, schools and communities.
