Emily is a filmmaker, video editor and producer who loves travelling, hiking and cooking. She is known among her peers as an old soul- enjoying sewing, knitting and a delightful night in watching Masterchef.

Emily is an award-winning filmmaker with a passion for creating issues-based documentaries that amplify important voices and shed light on untold stories. Her journey in film and TV began early, founding a small production company at just 16 years old. Driven by her love for storytelling, Emily later moved to Glasgow to build her career at BBC Scotland, where she gained extensive experience in filming, editing, directing, producing, and reporting across a variety of platforms.
During her time at the BBC, Emily worked on viral digital content for BBC The Social and BBC Three, as well as producing impactful programmes for BBC One, BBC News, and BBC Scotland. Her ability to craft engaging narratives across both traditional and digital media reflects her versatility and skill as a filmmaker.
Emily’s career has always been driven by a desire to use her talent for storytelling to give people’s voices a platform and create content that resonates deeply with audiences. Now at Preston Street Films, she brings her diverse skillset and unwavering commitment to powerful storytelling to every project she undertakes.
