BBC - The Other Side of the Story
In today’s world of increasing polarisation and the prevalence of misinformation online, educating young people to navigate the internet and social media responsibly is more important than ever. The BBC Other Side of the Story website provides vital resources to help young audiences approach digital content with intelligence and discernment. To expand their reach, they need innovative ways to engage their audience—and that’s where we come in.
We have worked on two projects for Other Side of the Story. In one we we developed three short video concepts on key digital literacy topics: Polarisation, Fake News, and Clickbait. These videos use humour and pastiche to present critical information in an accessible, relatable way.
For the second series we created content that was timed to coincide with the EURO 24 football tournament in which ex Manchester City footballer Nedum Onuoha discusses the challenges of a penalty shootout, and the impact of social media and news coverage on players.
In both projects we featured YouTube football star Eman Balogun – or SV2 as he’s known to his thousands of fans.
Polarisation, Fake News, and Clickbait
We made three films for the Other Side of the Story website. The History of Fake News, a humorous deep dive into how misinformation has evolved over time. Clickbait, a witty exploration of misleading online headlines. Polarisation for the Nation, a gameshow parody unpacking how the internet can fuel extreme divisions.
Each video is fast-paced, funny, and jam-packed with practical information to help young people spot misleading content and make informed decisions online.

EURO 24
Former Three Lions player Nedum Onuoha sits down with YouTuber Eman Balogun (SV2) for BBC Other Side of the Story, sharing his personal experiences from playing for England U21s in the 2007 European Championship. He reflects on the impact that media stories and headlines have had on him throughout his career, offering insight into how players navigate public scrutiny and misinformation in the world of football.
