Other Side of the Story

We have worked on two projects for Other Side of the Story. In one we we developed three short video concepts on key digital literacy topics: Polarisation, Fake News, and Clickbait. These videos use humour and pastiche to present critical information in an accessible, relatable way.

For the second series we created content that was timed to coincide with the EURO 24 football tournament in which ex Manchester City footballer Nedum Onuoha discusses the challenges of a penalty shootout, and the impact of social media and news coverage on players.

BBC Bitesize History

In 2023, BBC Bitesize commissioned us to create a series of 29 short documentary films designed to support pupils studying history in Scotland. The project aimed to produce engaging, educational content tailored to the National 4/5 and Higher syllabus, making complex historical concepts accessible and memorable for students.

Each film blends original archive material, stock footage, live-action elements, animation and motion graphics to create a dynamic, visually cohesive series. The use of onscreen text and animated graphics highlights key terms and concepts, ensuring that the content is both engaging and highly effective as a revision resource.

BBC Bitesize Virtual Options Evening

Every year, Year 9 students across the UK face the important decision of choosing which subjects to carry forward to their final exams. To help pupils with this process, BBC Bitesize commissioned us to create a series of videos showcasing some of the most popular subjects taught in schools in Scotland and Wales.

The videos feature subject teachers explaining what each course involves, along with insights from pupils sharing what they enjoy about studying those subjects. The video below is a teaser trailer that gives you a flavour of some of the content in the full videos.
